Card 1: Protection for Today
Scripture Anchor (NKJV): Psalm 121:7–8
“The LORD shall preserve you from all evil;
He shall preserve your soul.
The LORD shall preserve your going out and your coming in

What it means
God is faithful to watch over our home and our daily lives. Scripture teaches that the Lord preserves us—going out and coming in—so we can live with confidence instead of fear. Prayer doesn’t ignore reality; it places our family under God’s care.
Pray Together
Father, we thank You for being our Protector. Please cover our home and preserve our family from harm. Guard our minds, our hearts, and our relationships. Keep us alert and wise, and lead us away from anything that would bring danger or confusion. Let Your peace rule in our home, and let Your presence surround us. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Each person names one area they want God to cover today (school, work, travel, health, emotions). Then everyone says together: “Lord, preserve our going out and our coming in.”

What it means
God’s presence is a place of refuge, strength, and peace for our family. When we seek Him, trust Him, and remain rooted in His Word, we are reminded that we do not face life alone. We can place our home, our loved ones, and our concerns into the faithful hands of the One who covers us.

Father, thank You for being our refuge and our fortress. Cover our home and protect every member of our family. Help us trust You when we feel uncertain or afraid. Teach us to remain close to You, rooted in Your Word, and confident in Your faithful care. Let Your presence fill our home with peace and security. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Card 3: The Lord is Our Strong Tower

“The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.”

What it means
God invites our family to run to Him as our place of safety. We may not be able to control every circumstance, but we can call upon His name, seek His wisdom, and trust His protection. When fear rises, we can turn our attention back to the strength, authority, and faithfulness of the Lord.

Father, thank You for being our strong tower and our place of safety. When fear, worry, or uncertainty rises, teach our family to run to You first. Protect our home, guard our hearts, and remind us that Your name is powerful. Help us place our confidence in You and rest in Your faithful care. In Jesus’ name, amen
