PARENTING

God gives wisdom for parenting when you ask Him.

What it means

Parenting requires wisdom beyond our own understanding. God invites us to ask Him for direction when we feel uncertain, overwhelmed, or unsure how to respond. As we seek Him in prayer, He helps us make thoughtful decisions, guide our children with patience, and lead our homes according to His Word.

Pray Together

Father, grant us wisdom as we guide and nurture our children. When we feel uncertain, remind us to seek Your direction before responding. Help us make decisions that reflect Your Word, lead with patience, and create a home where our children can grow in faith, love, and understanding. In Jesus’ name, amen.

What it means

Children need guidance that is firm, patient, and rooted in love. God calls parents to correct and teach without using anger, harshness, or discouraging words. When we lead with patience and consistency, we create a home where children can learn, grow, and understand God's character through the way we care for them.

Pray Together

Father, help us guide our children with patience, wisdom, and love. Teach us to correct without discouraging, listen before responding, and speak words that build confidence and character. When we feel frustrated, calm our hearts and help us reflect Your grace. Give us the wisdom to lead our children according to Your Word. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Family Action (1 minute)

Choose one encouraging sentence to speak over your children today, such as, “You are loved, and God is helping you grow.” Say it with patience and sincerity.
