What it means

Not every day will feel easy, but each day is still a gift from God. Choosing joy means we intentionally look for His goodness, thank Him for His presence, and refuse to allow difficulty to control the atmosphere of our home. Joy grows when gratitude becomes part of our family’s daily rhythm.

Pray Together

Father, thank You for the gift of this day. Help our family choose joy even when circumstances are not perfect. Open our eyes to recognize Your goodness, Your mercy, and the blessings You have placed around us. Teach us to encourage one another, practice gratitude, and create an atmosphere of joy in our home. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Family Action (1 minute)

Choose one simple way your family can create joy today, such as sharing an encouraging word, playing a favorite song, or naming three blessings together.
