What it means
God designed marriage for partnership—support, teamwork, and strength together. Prayer helps us lift one another up, stay aligned, and lead with humility rather than control.
Pray Together
Father, thank You for making us partners. Help us lead and support each other with humility and respect. Teach us to communicate clearly, serve one another well, and stay aligned in our decisions. When one of us is weak, help the other bring strength. Keep our hearts free from pride and make us strong as one team. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Couple Action (1 minute)
Each of us answers: “Where do you need my support this week?” Then we choose one practical way to help (one task, one encouragement, one prayer focus).
Scripture Anchor (NKJV): Galatians 5:13
“Through love serve one another.”

What it means
Biblical leadership is not about control; it is about service. God calls both husband and wife to serve one another with humility, love, and respect. Healthy marriages flourish when spouses seek to support one another rather than compete with one another. Partnership grows stronger when both individuals value each other's strengths and work together toward common goals.
Pray Together
Father, teach us to serve one another with love and humility. Help us put aside selfishness and choose actions that strengthen our marriage. Show us how to encourage, support, and uplift one another in our daily lives. Let our relationship reflect the servant-hearted example of Christ. In Jesus' name, amen.
Couples Action (1 minute)
Each spouse names one practical way they can serve the other this week. Then say together, “Lord, help us serve one another in love.”
Scripture Anchor (NKJV): Amos 3:3
“Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?”

What it means
Partnership in marriage requires shared direction, mutual respect, and a willingness to walk together. While husbands and wives may have different gifts and responsibilities, God designed marriage to function as a united relationship moving toward a common purpose. When couples seek God's wisdom together and make decisions together, unity and trust grow stronger.
Pray Together
Father, help us walk together in unity and purpose. Give us wisdom as we make decisions and guide us to seek Your direction above our own desires. Help us honor one another's strengths, support one another's responsibilities, and work together as partners in the life You have given us. Let our marriage reflect harmony, trust, and shared purpose. In Jesus' name, amen.
Couples Action (1 minute)
Discuss one goal you would like to pursue together over the next month. Then ask God to guide you as you move forward together.
